Hello Folks,

I hope you're all doing well!

Happy news; this post brings new tips to build your CV ,,,

We had a long talk today with Dora, the ex director of SpirEat Tapas ; we asked her opinion on what differentiates a good from an not ideal CV.

Dora is the ideal person to ask that question as she had her own business here in Ireland, which unfortunately closed the doors in 2017.

According to Dora CVs with more than two pages are not ideal (even better if the cv contains only one page and you do not really need to explain every detail of your work in your CV, only the main and most relevant parts - she said).

A brief CV, with the correct grammar and with evident work experience is the type of CV that she likes most!

Dora is currently assistant manager at The Shack Restaurant at Temple Bar.

We asked her what it was like to write a CV and go back to the market soon after having her own business.

"I wrote all the experience I had in my CV but did not say I owned the business."

Dora's biggest concern would be not to have the opportunity for an interview as she was looking for a smaller position than she currently occupies.

We also asked Dora how she feels about working for someone after she had her own business; much lighter and happier, "she said.

Great ; thank you Dora for sharing your time and knowledge.

I hope you guys liked it and see you on the nex post.
